Kevin Bandel (under the gamer tag “Hyprid”) has been a serious Melee player since 2009 and has competed in many tournaments, several of which were international events. He tied for 25th place out of 970 entrants at Evolution Championship Series 2014, which at was the largest Melee tournament in history at the time. Bandel has several notable results, having victories over several players rated top 40 in the world and has been ranked in both northern and southern California. His tournament performances have earned him recognition from the Melee community throughout the United States and have led to his rank of 95th in the world in the 2014 Melee It On Me’s Player Ranking.
